FAQ's

Below we have some frequently asked questions. Give them a read and if you still have a query then please fill in the contact form and I'll get right back to you.

Can I join if I'm pregnant?

Yes, I am a certified ante/postnatal trainer and can take you any time once you've had the clearance from your GP. You will be guided safely through strengthening exercises, core and pelvic floor exercises preparing you for holding, carrying and lifting both your baby and the car seats, bags and toys!

Is Smart Time Fitness only for mums?

No, anyone can join, not everyone likes a gym environment and when you're short on time this is a perfect way to train.

Can babies be present?

Yes. I designed and created Smart Time Fitness around my own experiences and challenges of motherhood. From wanting to exercise for stress relief and not always having the time or an extra pair of hands to help babysit, and not having to worry if your socks don’t match. We love having babies present, it helps normalise every mums situation.

What do I need?

You will need a mat, some water and a little space to move around. For best results I recommend you have a set of light and medium dumbbells and resistance bands to start. A tripod for your phone or laptop is handy and you can even chrome cast to the TV and get the full picture clearly.

Are the classes live or pre-recorded?

Our classes are live. You will be trained by me as your personal trainer, guided through your workout safely and effectively. This is what makes us stand out from others, you're not left your own devices.

How do I know what class will suit me?

I always recommend at least one private session prior to classes, this helps me to establish your current fitness and abilities. I can teach you the fundamentals of correct form and technique and then progress to a suitable class.
